About this role
Accountabilities
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and reporting.
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Build analytical data models, measures, indicators, and other structures that support business reporting.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and define relevant KPIs and performance indicators.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, reliability, and performance of the databases and data sources supporting dashboards and reports.
- Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and cross-source comparisons to identify inconsistencies and ensure data accuracy.
- Document KPIs, business rules, data sources, and analytical definitions to improve transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Support improvements to semantic models, analytical layers, reporting structures, and data governance practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, usability, and consistency across analytical solutions.
Requirements
- Solid professional experience working with SQL for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and optimization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard and report development.
- Experience creating analytical models, measures, KPIs, and business-oriented data structures.
- Ability to analyze data from multiple sources, perform validations and reconciliations, and identify data-quality issues.
- Strong understanding of data quality, consistency, performance, and reporting governance principles.
- Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful indicators, reports, and analytical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to document data sources, business rules, indicators, and reporting logic clearly.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to continuously improve analytical models, reporting processes, and data solutions.
- Comfort working remotely and collaborating effectively within a distributed technology environment.
