About this role
Under the overall supervision of the Finance and Administrative Officer (MHD) and the direct supervision of the National Finance Officer (Health Data Monitoring and Reporting), the Senior Administrative and Finance Associate will be responsible and accountable for providing administrative and financial support services including processing payments and invoices, budgeting, financial monitoring, reporting, and finance-related functions for the health projects managed by PAF unit.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field from an
accredited academic institution, with four (4) years of relevant professional experience; or
- High school diploma with six (6) years of relevant professional experience.
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in financial monitoring, reporting, budgeting, accounting or auditing;
- Experience maintaining dashboards using Power Query and other data tools; and
- Organizational knowledge and experience in migration health projects is an advantage.
SKILLS
- Sound knowledge of accounting systems, including SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, as well as generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls, and audit/review procedures;
- High level of computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications; knowledge of other IT packages and their implementation is an advantage;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail; and
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
