Some of the things you’ll be doing
- Ensure client entities remain in good legal standing by maintaining compliance with applicable local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Support the setup and ongoing administration of corporate, fund, and private legal structures
- Deliver comprehensive corporate secretarial services and assist with a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.
- Monitor and manage compliance timelines to help clients meet regulatory and legal obligations efficiently and on time.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date corporate records and documentation for client entities.
- Serve as the key liaison between clients, advisors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Uphold and strengthen the firm’s reputation as a trusted and proactive provider of trust and corporate services.
- Act as a gatekeeper by promoting financial system integrity and ensuring adherence to WFT (Wet Financieel Toezicht) and related compliance frameworks.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dutch Law, Corporate Law, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent legal qualification.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience within trust or financial services, a law firm, or a corporate legal department. Prior experience managing a complex client portfolio (30 –50 entities) in a corporate secretarial capacity is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in corporate secretarial services, including entity management, legal compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory filings. A strong understanding of legal and procedural requirements related to entity lifecycle management is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, with the ability to convey legal and business matters clearly and effectively in written and verbal form.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with the ability to evaluate legal and business issues, identify risks, and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Detail-oriented and precise, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness across all tasks.
