About this role

Accountabilities

- Serve as a subject-matter expert for an assigned financial domain, providing consultation, insight, and recommendations on financial systems and processes.

- Assess and establish financial processes, standards, and requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders across different business units.

- Translate business strategy and financial requirements into practical, scalable solutions that can be adopted and supported in production environments.

- Guide solutions from concept through delivery, validating feasibility and ensuring alignment with business needs.

- Participate in design reviews and process discussions throughout different stages of transformation initiatives.

- Identify process and functionality gaps during testing, develop appropriate solutions, and coordinate validation before deployment.

- Ensure financial processes and system designs adhere to applicable business, governance, and regulatory standards, including SOX requirements.

- Lead project or process sprints and help monitor schedules, milestones, deliverables, and overall progress.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for end-to-end financial system processes.

- Define and reinforce financial standards, procedures, metrics, and policies to promote consistency across business units.

- Provide coaching, training, and support to internal and external stakeholders adopting new processes or solutions.

- Act as the technical owner and primary point of contact for domain-specific solutions.

- Support transition readiness, go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization as new service delivery models are introduced.

- Collaborate across finance, technology, business functions, and global process organizations to drive continuous improvement and successful transformation.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education in Finance or a related field.

- At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance, financial systems, business process transformation, or a closely related discipline.

- At least 2 years of leadership experience, either managing people or leading processes, projects, or transformation initiatives.

- Strong financial domain expertise with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technology-enabled solutions.

- Demonstrated ability to influence business stakeholders, build alignment, and drive results across functional boundaries.

- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, team-building, and total quality management skills.

- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, standards, and established precedents when resolving complex business issues.

- Experience monitoring project schedules, controlling progress, and coordinating multiple activities toward defined outcomes.

- Strong collaboration skills and experience working across functions and with global process or business organizations.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized accounting or finance applications.

- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems, such as Workday, is preferred.

- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain financial and technical concepts to diverse audiences.

- Ability to work independently in a transformation-focused environment while effectively collaborating with distributed teams.
