Accountabilities
- Process member applications, complete enrollments on internal platforms, and transmit enrollment information in accordance with applicable CMS requirements.
- Review enrollment reports and make appropriate adjustments, additions, and deletions based on established enrollment rules and procedures.
- Manage a daily mailbox and respond to enrollment-related requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work directly with internal and external customers to implement new Medicare clients and provide ongoing enrollment and reporting support.
- Maintain alignment between client and internal enrollment data, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Monitor multiple reports to identify enrollment trends, process gaps, data discrepancies, and potential system issues.
- Research operational problems, determine appropriate solutions, and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide enrollment data and reporting support to clients while ensuring information remains accurate and synchronized.
- Apply established guidelines while exercising independent judgment when handling varied or occasionally ambiguous situations.
- Contribute to process improvements and support departmental and organizational objectives.
- Protect sensitive member information and follow applicable privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Medicare enrollment and/or customer service, with experience handling enrollment-related processes, member information, or client support.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information, investigate problems, research discrepancies, and determine practical solutions.
- Working knowledge of CI and familiarity with enrollment processes and operational workflows.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, including the capacity to manage competing priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Creative and innovative problem-solving skills, combined with a positive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Group Medicare enrollment or customer service experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare compliance guidelines is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, though relevant professional experience may also be considered.
- Experience with AE, CRM, or TSO systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access and PowerPoint is a plus.
- Experience managing small- to mid-scale projects is beneficial.
- Consultative skills, including the ability to understand customer needs, assess situations, and make appropriate recommendations, are advantageous.
- For remote work, candidates must have reliable internet service with a minimum recommended speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, as well as a dedicated workspace suitable for protecting confidential member and HIPAA-related information.
- Ability to participate in occasional travel to company offices for training or meetings, as required.
