About this role
Accountabilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K–12 students in a fully remote school-based environment.
- Conduct student assessments and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports based on identified communication needs.
- Develop and implement IEP goals, individualized therapy plans, and appropriate intervention strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other members of the educational team.
- Support students across areas including articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and social communication.
- Partner with educators and families to encourage the continued use and development of communication skills across settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, evaluation records, and compliance-related materials.
- Monitor student progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust intervention plans as appropriate.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure through the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NCBOESLPA).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong collaboration, organization, and clinical problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to provide high-quality services independently in a fully remote environment.
- Commitment to student-centered care, professional standards, and accurate clinical documentation.

- Compensation of approximately $47–$52 per hour , with the source posting advertising rates up to $54/hour.
