Location: Good Sam Hospital, 375 Dixmyth Ave Cincinnati, OH 45220
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift 7am-330 pm

Job Overview:
Under general direction, this position performs supply and inventory control functions primarily to include monitoring usage of all supplies, PAR level establishment and maintenance, calculation order quantities, submitting orders, processing credits and adjustments, receiving storing, dispensing materials, and maintaining order in, and ensuring cleanliness of all storage locations. This position coordinates daily supply activities with management, Specialty Leaders and operating room.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED degree (Required)
3 - 4 years experience in a related field (Required)
Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to perform intermediate mathematical operations
Job Responsibilities:
Adjusts par levels minimum/maxes of assigned area to maintain appropriate inventory levels; deletes obsolete product when appropriate. Keeps handheld units up-to-date.
Assists with product conversions and introduction of new products into the system. Works with outdated product and vendors to return obsolete items for credit to the supplier.
Helps to maintain control of supply budget of assigned nursing areas and storeroom by maintaining appropriate inventory levels to meet department needs yet keeping those levels at a Minimum.
Identifies possible inventory problems and works toward resolving them, i.e., backorder issues, finding substitute products and inconsistencies in the system, etc.
Inventory management as follows: Proper and complete ordering and storage of supplies. Check items for outdates. Inventory of supplies for reordering. Proper rotation of stock. Keeps assigned area clean and orderly, with shelves properly labeled.
