What You'll Be Doing
- Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for industrial facilities
- Develop detailed construction drawings, plans, sections, and electrical layouts using Revit MEP
- Create equipment layouts, conduit routing plans, grounding systems, and cable schedules
- Generate wiring diagrams and construction details from engineering schematics
- Partner with engineers and project teams to deliver complete design packages
- Manage project drawings, CAD files, and technical documentation
- Support projects from concept development through final construction deliverables
- Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders regarding design updates and technical requirements
- Contribute to quality control and design standards across multiple projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years of electrical design experience in a consulting engineering environment
- Strong proficiency with Revit MEP for electrical drafting and design
- Experience developing complete drawing packages and construction documentation
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Project Environment
- Support projects across chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and industrial manufacturing facilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
- Minimal travel required

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Downers Grove, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $67.31/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
