Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Account Executive I to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Plans, prioritizes, and manages strategies for sales growth within the territory to meet or exceed sales and profitability goals.

- Completes the discovery process with customers to understand their strategies, pain points, and needs to ensure an aligned sales approach.

- Organizes site walk-throughs with the Engineering team and the customer to review customer needs and building layouts/systems for an accurate design proposal.

- Partners with architectural and engineering firms, along with internal staff, to assist in developing proposals that ensure customer needs are met.

- Coordinates and provides customer proposals and/or bids in an accurate, timely, and professional manner ensuring profit margins are met.

- Conducts sales presentations regarding solutions to the customers and management, in a way that differentiates our products/services to influence the sales process.

- Services and maintains existing client base while generating new business to expand customers in the Commercial Industrial market, primarily for fire alarm and other security products.

- Builds and nurtures new and existing relationships with customers to continually grow the relationships and business.

- Provides submittal of sales orders and job notes to appropriate order processing and technical staff to process the order and initiate the project in an accurate and timely way.

- Tracks all leads, prospects, and customers in the company CRM to manage funnel status, accurate projections, and account contact information for fluid communication.

- Works with management to develop a competitive pricing structure ensuring company financial goals are met.

- Tracks and provides accurate sales information in Q360 and to company management in a timely manner to forecast and manage sales.

- Researches and develops skillset to continually enhance individual performance and the performance of the group.

- Follows and adheres to the compliance areas regarding the Company's and customers' safety and other programs.

- Supports other areas of the business, as needed, for the continual sustainability and growth of the business.

Basic Qualifications:

- A Bachelors Degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or similar field; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of sales or service of electronic equipment is required.

- 3+ years of Territory Sales Management in an industrial, electronics, security, or similar field.

- Excellent consultative sales expertise; strong planning, analyzing, prioritizing, organization, negotiating, execution, and time management skills. Ability to problem-solve, follow up, and request feedback to ensure customer goals are met. Able to handle stressful situations effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. General understanding of NFPA 72, NFPA 25, NFPA 10, BICSI, and NICET codes/standards.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and CRM systems.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Able to present to customers.

- Customer and goal-oriented, personable, assertive, and self-driven. Strong relational, networking, and influencing skills. Professional in appearance, intuitive thinker who can take a vision from a customer and provide a solution. Continual learner to be able to communicate the top attributes of the products. Able to maintain discretion and a high degree of confidentiality.

The salary range for this position is $XX,XXX–$XX,XXX annually, plus commission. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
