THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD

The Warehouse Worker SSMO shall be responsible for performing a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.

Responsibilities

- Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents.

- Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages.

- Route materials to prescribed storage locations.

- Store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.

- Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials.

- Examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage.

- Remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment.

- May operate hand trucks, power trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks in performing warehousing duties.

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum two (2) years of material/supply functions, either in the military services or in commercial applications.

- Minimum two (2) years of experience with supply chain management, inventory, warehousing; specifically, preventive maintenance.

- Possess and maintain a valid state-issued Driver's license and applicable Government/Army license.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Ability to physically load and unload heavy objects

- Ability to store and move furniture without mechanical aid.

- Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory, and warehousing operations

- Ability to be proficient with office automation to include desktop computers, Microsoft Office suite, copiers and phones.

- Ability to obtain NACI.

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

## Estimated Salary/Wage
Up to USD $27.01/Hr.
