About this role

Are you someone who enjoys turning
real customer problems into clear, well-defined product requirements?

Nice to meet you! I'm Milja Valentine , a Senior Talent Partner at
LeadDesk. Together with Mikko Räty , our Head of Product, we are now looking for
a Technical Product Manager (AI) to join our growing AI product team in
Helsinki.

AI is one of LeadDesk's biggest growth areas right now, and this
role sits right at the centre of it. You'll be the operational engine of our
continuous discovery process, working closely with Sales, Customer Success and
R&D to turn real customer needs into modern, agentic workflows, including
the voice bots and AI assistants that support our customers' agents. This role
complements our Commercial AI Product Manager, who owns AI product strategy,
pricing and packaging. You'll focus on translating validated customer needs
into requirements, steering technical feasibility with R&D, and driving
hands-on product discovery and demos.

What's in it for you

- A central role in one of LeadDesk's most strategically important
areas, with real ownership of the AI product discovery process from day
one

- Work across multiple products and product lines, shaping
requirements for genuinely modern AI architecture: MCP, RAG, vector
databases, agent state management and real-time event infrastructure

- Close collaboration with R&D, Sales, Customer Success and
enterprise customers, plus regular opportunities to present and demo what
you're building

- Experience a truly international work environment, collaborating
with talented colleagues from 23 nationalities across 7 countries in a
multicultural and diverse setting

- Flexible and hybrid. Enjoy work life balance with flexible hours
and a hybrid model, 3 days a week at our HQ Helsinki office in Kallio

- We enjoy spending time together through company events and team
activities. Benefits include lunch, culture, sports and wellbeing
benefits.

What you can expect as a Technical
Product Manager (AI) at LeadDesk

- Leading continuous, structured discovery with customers and
cross-functional teams (Sales, CS, R&D) to identify real
Jobs-to-be-Done, through interviews, validation, and User Story Mapping
before R&D writes production code

- Translating validated customer needs into clear product
requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional
requirements that R&D can build on with confidence

- Driving UX and workflow design together with designers and
engineers, so solutions stay intuitive, scalable, and grounded in real
customer workflows

- Owning backlog prioritisation across multiple products and product
lines, balancing customer value, technical debt, bugs, and strategic
development

- Collaborating with engineering to track and optimise token
economics at a per-customer level to protect profit margins

- Supporting testing, release planning, and go-to-production
decisions with informed trade-off recommendations

- Leading live product demonstrations and MVP demos for enterprise
clients, internal stakeholders, and webinars, translating complex AI
concepts into clear business value stories

What success looks like in this role
in the first 6 months and beyond

- You have a clear picture of the AI development roadmap and how
your work fits into it

- You're driving things forward with the development team and are
known as the person people turn to internally on AI product questions

- You're prioritising the backlog together with the team, grounded
in validated customer needs

- You've built a solid conceptual understanding of our AI
architecture, including MCP, RAG and agent state management, well enough
to challenge and support engineering

This is where the match happens

Must-haves

- At least a few years' experience in a similar technical product
management role

- Fluent and articulate in English, both spoken and written

- Comfortable leading technical workshops, customer interviews, and
demos, and translating technical AI and API concepts into
business-relevant language

- Experience with Continuous Discovery, JTBD methodology, workflow
mapping, and customer validation frameworks

- Understanding of embedded and Zero-UI UX thinking

- Conceptual understanding of MCP, RAG, vector databases, agent
state management, and agentic, API-first architectures, including system
prompting and AI evaluation frameworks

- Familiarity with token economics, latency considerations, and
usage analytics

- Ability to challenge and guide engineering teams on modern AI and
API architecture, without needing to write code yourself

Nice-to-haves

- Experience working in a scale-up or fast-growing SaaS/tech company

- Experience with contact centre, telecom, or other voice-first
products

- Fluency in any additional European language (e.g., Finnish,
Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, German, Spanish)

Practicalities

- Location: Helsinki HQ (hybrid work model)

- Work
permit in Finland: Required

- Start date: Around the turn of the year/ January 2027

- Employment:
Full-time, permanent

- Compensation: €5,000 to €8,000 per month, plus potentially including a personal bonus component
