Maran Tankers Management Inc. one of the world’s leading tanker operators and part of the Angelicoussis Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Operator.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and supervising Operations of the vessels assigned to her/his responsibility.
- Responsible for the operational efficiency of company vessels.
- Guidance and instructions to Masters relevant to voyage and charter party instructions, breaking warranties, cargo operations, bunkering, communications (including position and other operational reports).
- Voyage planning, estimation and analysis (at the completion of each voyage).
- Communication with Commercial, Technical, Freight Collection and other departments.
Requirements
Candidate must have
- University Degree graduate in a shipping-related subject from a recognized University (STEM graduates with working or internship experience are also welcomed to apply).
- 2-3 years of working experience as an Operator, would be also an advantage.
- Proficiency in the English Language (written and oral) is a firm requirement.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
