About the Role:
As a Goods In Administrator, you will be at the heart of warehouse operations, ensuring inbound stock is accurately received, recorded and maintained within inventory systems. Working closely with customers, operational teams and client services, you will help deliver seamless goods-in processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Working pattern: weekly rotation shifts. Week 1: 0600-1400hrs Week 2: 1000–1800hrs
How you will contribute:
- Coordinate and respond to customer and client booking requests via email and telephone.
- Create and maintain daily and weekly inbound booking schedules to support efficient warehouse operations.
- Accurately process stock receipts and ensure all inbound inventory is recorded within warehouse management systems.
- Verify physical stock against system records and investigate any discrepancies with inbound deliveries.
- Manage purchase order creation and maintain accurate transactional records.
- Use warehouse systems and scanning equipment to capture product dimensions, weights and inventory data.
- Conduct stock investigations, maintain query and error logs, and support the resolution of inventory issues.
- Liaise with client services and operational teams to ensure stock queries are resolved efficiently.
- Complete administrative and filing activities while supporting the wider Goods In function.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting incidents or unsafe practices.
What you will bring:
- Previous experience in an administrative, warehousing, logistics or inventory control environment.
- Strong computer literacy with experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage inventory data and identify discrepancies.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience working with stock control, inventory management or goods receipt processes.
- Ability to investigate issues, analyse information and support effective resolution of stock-related queries.
- Confidence working independently while maintaining effective collaboration across multiple teams.
- Strong customer-focused communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
