Job Description As a Customer Order Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing accurate and timely support. You will conduct system training sessions, prepare customer quotes, and handle both non-stock and emergency orders efficiently. Your role will involve monitoring order status, communicating project updates, and resolving financial discrepancies. Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing system training sessions with the team.
- Prepare and provide customer quotes.
- Process non-stock orders within 48 hours and handle all emergency orders.
- Monitor and update order status, ensuring past due orders are completed daily.
- Perform daily sourcing activities.
- Communicate upcoming projects to the team.
- Resolve accounts payable and accounts receivable issues.
- Request and process order revisions.
- Review open orders regularly.
- Expedite material and ensure timely customer inquiry responses.
- Work on OSD&D reports.
- Track orders and maintain accurate records.
- Complete and manage SMAA forms, providing alternate materials for discontinued items.
- Fulfill SQAD requirements by obtaining necessary documents from customers.
Essential Skills
- Order entry and management experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service or order management.
- Self-motivated with strong problem resolution skills.
- Good follow-up and professionalism.
- Proficiency in customer service, order tracking, computer skills, and inventory management.
Work Environment Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional additional hours during busy periods. The company offers a family-oriented environment, celebrating birthdays and organizing team events. Bonuses may be provided mid-year or at the end of the year based on profitability. The company has a stable workload, being part of the utility market, and is known for its customer satisfaction tradition.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.44/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
