Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support high-speed automated manufacturing equipment. This individual will focus on PLC programming, controls troubleshooting, equipment upgrades, and specifying components for complex converting machinery. The role offers significant ownership over machine improvements and design decisions while working in a fast-paced production environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Modify and troubleshoot existing PLC code.
Make small programming changes and continuous improvements to machine operation.
Identify root causes of machine and controls issues.
Work directly with equipment suppliers and vendors to discuss troubleshooting, upgrades, and equipment modifications.
Specify and select electrical components for machinery upgrades and replacements.
Troubleshoot drives, servo motors, sensors, and controls components.
Access PLCs to diagnose component failures and determine corrective actions.
Support highly automated manufacturing equipment used in diaper production.
Participate in equipment modernization projects involving controls and electrical upgrades

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
