What You'll Do
- Operate spray machines, hand sprayers, orbital sanders, and other finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sand and finish a wide variety of wood products using paint, lacquer, varnish, polyurethane, primer, and other finishing materials.
- Identify and understand different finish products and their applications.
- Mix stains and dyes to achieve precise color matches.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining the high quality our customers expect.
- Read a tape measure to 1/16" accuracy and perform basic conversions and calculations.
- Navigate spreadsheets, work orders, production forms, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Bend, lift, twist, and carry up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
What We're Looking For
- Manufacturing or industrial experience -schooling or hands‑on work in a production environment helps you transition quickly.
- Reliability, grit, and dedication -we run a predictable day‑shift schedule with weekends off, so consistent attendance is essential.
- Familiarity with finish materials -experience with stain, dye, lacquer, polyurethane, conversion varnish, waterborne coatings, paint, or primer is a strong advantage.
- Strong organization and attention to detail -our products require precision and consistency.
