About this role

Advisory Operations Specialist

### What You'll Do
This role supports financial advisors by processing paperwork, updating account information, and making sure client data is accurate. If you enjoy detail-oriented work, staying organized, and working with spreadsheets and systems, this could be a great fit. You'll spend most of your day reviewing documents, entering and verifying information, tracking work in Excel, and helping ensure account transactions are handled correctly and on time.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Review and process account paperwork and financial documents.
- Track tasks and workloads using Excel and other internal systems.
- Handle a high volume of transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Update client and account information in multiple systems.
- Verify data, troubleshoot discrepancies, and correct errors when needed.
- Process requests such as account updates, account closures, and investment-related changes.
- Work with advisors to ensure paperwork is completed correctly.
- Follow established procedures and compliance requirements.
- Support ongoing projects related to company acquisitions and system integrations.
- Assist with the rollout of new financial products and programs.
- Monitor reports and account activity to ensure information remains accurate.
- Learn company platforms and become a go-to resource for operational processes.

What We're Looking For

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, or a similar environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable processing a high volume of paperwork and transactions.
- Ability to work across multiple computer systems at once.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Basic understanding of financial services, investments, or brokerage operations.
- Ability to identify problems and help find solutions.

Nice to Have

- Experience working in a financial operations, banking, or back-office support role.
- Experience maintaining account records or processing financial transactions.
- Familiarity with investment platforms, trading systems, or advisory tools.
- Experience reconciling data between multiple systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain processes clearly to others.

Work Environment

- Hybrid schedule with at least 2 days per week in the West Des Moines office.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
