Job purpose
- Responsible for inspecting each unit to assure product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct and monitor QA/QC inspections on the production line of each phase to ensure finished product meets approved documents and prints
- Initials the QA/QC checklist indicating acceptance during each construction phase If non-compliance is found, the inspector is to note which station on the QA/QC checklist and notify the Supervisor responsible for the non-conformance If still non-compliance, contact the Production and QA/QC Manager
- Corrections are to be noted as completed on the QA/QC checklist by inspector
- Inspectors must verify that the non-conformance have been corrected prior to continued construction phases
- Responsible for arranging and distributing QA/QC checklist and COMcheck to the production line
- Monitor COMcheck (components of building), plumbing, electrical and gas system test and sign off list verified and completed
- Conduct verifications on floor & center of the line Mate which includes: exterior front & rear wall, interior columns, interior cross walls, and floor spacing
- Follow all company's inspection reference procedures and protocols: approved designed package, building codes, and product/components
- Cooperate with production team on all non-conformance and share information within the QA/QC department
- Front end inspector is responsible for shipping units, final walk thru and to make sure work order check off is signed out by driver and collects copy of BOL is received upon departure
- Creates Punch list that covers cosmetics which items not conformed
- Installs labels and data plate on all units
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned per QA/QC Manager

Qualifications include:
- Ability to read and study work orders and blue prints
- Ability to multi-task, be accurate and pay attention to detail
- Problem analysis, communication — verbal and written skills
- Data collection, attention to detail and decision making
- Microsoft Office and other databases
- Technical degree or certification
- High School Diploma and 2+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience
