About this role

Superior Beverage Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Warehouse Production Supervisor to lead our warehouse production operations. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and team performance within one of the region's largest beverage distribution centers.

The Warehouse Production Supervisor will lead a team of 20-40 associates and provide daily direction, coaching, and accountability to ensure the efficient movement of products through the warehouse. This leader will foster a culture centered on safety, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and employee development while supporting the overall goals of the Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

- Leadership & Team Development

Lead, coach, and develop a team of 20-40 warehouse production associates.

- Establish clear performance expectations and hold associates accountable for meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards.

- Conduct performance coaching, corrective action, and employee recognition activities as needed.

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment.

- Safety & Compliance

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the operation.

- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Operational Excellence

Oversee daily production activities on Vertique system to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient fulfillment of customer orders.

- Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and productivity metrics to meet operational objectives.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service levels.

- Partner with other departments to identify operational challenges and implement solutions.

- Inventory & Equipment Management

Ensure proper handling, storage, rotation, and disposition of damaged or out-of-code products.

- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards.

- Oversee the safe operation and maintenance of material handling equipment.

- Ensure associates are properly trained and certified on warehouse equipment.

- Business Performance

Manage labor resources effectively within budget guidelines.

- Analyze operational metrics and implement action plans to improve results.

- Support company initiatives and contribute to achieving departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 50 pounds.

- Stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, climb stairs, and kneel throughout the work shift.

- Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment for up to 10+ hours per shift.

- Safely ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and elevated work platforms as required.

- Ability to operate or learn to operate various types of powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

Must Have Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED.

- 3+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production environment.

- Experience leading frontline teams in a fast-paced operational setting.

- Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Ability to work flexible hours as business needs dictate.

Preferred Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF technology, and automated warehouse environments.

- Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or process optimization methodologies.

- Beverage distribution, manufacturing, or consumer products experience.
