Are you a natural leader with a passion for hospitality? RiverMead, a premier not-for-profit CCRC in Peterborough, NH, is seeking an experienced Culinary Coordinator to help lead our dining services team.
In this full-time leadership role, you'll oversee daily dining operations; service, food safety, and overall guest experience, while supervising dining staff and coordinating special events across our dining venues.
What You'll Do:
- Greet and support residents and guests throughout meal periods, addressing questions and concerns as they arise
- Supervise dining service staff, ensuring proper service techniques, sanitation, and side work are consistently followed
- Oversee opening/closing procedures, station setups, and coordination of special functions with kitchen staff
- Manage daily operational tasks — processing resident charges, updating menu slides, posting dining announcements, and labeling for allergens
- Step in during peak times to help with bussing, serving, or other tasks as needed
- Coordinate staffing and scheduling with other Coordinators and Managers; train and orient new dining staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years of dining service experience with strong knowledge of service, sanitation, and food handling standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills; basic computer proficiency
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
