About this role
Purpose
The Account Services Specialist supports branch and frontline staff by providing assistance, maintaining accurate account records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in data integrity, product setup, and process improvement across multiple banking systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 support to frontline staff, primarily CSRs and Branch Managers.
- Oversee daily document review and indexing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review, monitor and document daily maintenance logs.
- Conduct daily new account reviews and prepare TEs (technical exceptions) as needed.
- Ensure all account opening policies and procedures are followed.
- Manage daily workflow of Collab Hub checklists from frontline staff.
- Maintain up-to-date TISA disclosures and related documentation.
- Perform system maintenance, including Simplicity updates, and FIS updates for DO/XE.
- Establish new products in XE and maintain associated records.
- Assist in the training of all frontline personnel on new products, services, policies and procedures.
- Process interest adjustments for CDs, DDAs, savings accounts, and IRAs.
- Assist with preparation of examination request lists.
- Produce and distribute board reports as required.
- Review periodic key reports, as needed. (i.e. officer codes, branch assignments, community cards, and account nicknames, etc.)
- Communicate with frontline staff, Branch Managers and Retail management as needed.

Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of banking experience is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in banking operations, account services, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of bank operating systems and basic banking operations.
