Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description
Join a fast-paced unmanned maritime systems team supporting the transition of advanced products from engineering into production. This role serves as a critical bridge between Engineering and Manufacturing, ensuring products are buildable, supportable, and operating as intended.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing and production teams with day-to-day product troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis on mechanical assembly, integration, and performance issues.
- Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and engineering change documentation.
- Review and scrub bills of material (BOMs) for accuracy and configuration control.
- Support product testing, failure investigations, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Execute light mechanical design and drawing updates in SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with design engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teams to improve product performance and manufacturability.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and engineering documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on mechanical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with BOM management, testing, and engineering change processes preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or product engineering environments.
Work Environment
The position is onsite at the client in Pocasset, MA. The role involves working in a cross-functional design team responsible for bringing designs through first article, test, integration, and delivery to manufacturing. The work environment is dynamic, focusing on applying principles and techniques of mechanical engineering to research, develop, design, and test verified design solutions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.50 - $64.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
