Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Coordinator to support our procurement and supply chain operations. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for managing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, tracking inventory levels, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Create, process, and monitor purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment. Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and order status. Maintain vendor relationships and support supplier performance management. Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and requirements. Track inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning. Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, shipments, and receiving documentation. Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier information. Assist with obtaining quotes, negotiating pricing, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Monitor open orders and follow up on delayed shipments. Generate purchasing reports and analyze procurement data as needed. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, supply chain, or administrative experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. must be comfortable going on a plant floor

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
