Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED with one year experience in the mental health or related field. Associates degree is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with persons with mental illness/substance use disorders to support recovery is required. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office applications, and electronic documentation systems required. Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, collaborate effectively with others, exercise sound judgment, and build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Must successfully enroll in the Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) training program within a timeframe established by the organization and obtain CPRP certification within a reasonable period of time as determined by the organization, unless otherwise approved by management. Must be able to be reached by phone and have a vehicle to transport and complete organization business. Valid NYS Driver's License required in accordance with Unity House policies; ability to travel in surrounding area.
Full time, 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8am-4pm.
