About this role

VHIR is looking for a Research Nurse to join the Nephrology and kidney transplant research group. The selected candidate will work as both a research nurse and as a clinical trials coordinator of their own clinical trials

Main responsibilities and duties:

- Maintain potential participants informed within clinical trials
- Selection, inclusion and follow-up of patients in clinical trials
- Collection of blood and other biological samples from patients participating in clinical trials
- Handling of biological samples: centrifuge, freezing, shipping to central laboratories, etc.
- Participation in the meetings and activities of the Research Group

Education and qualifications:

Required:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Professional proficiency in Catalan, Spanish and English

Desirable:

- Good computer literacy level; basic MS office
- Master in Clinical trials
- SAP experience

Experience and knowle dge:

Required:

- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Motivation for clinical research
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Highly organised and methodical, with strong motivation and initiative.

Desirable:

- Previous experience working in clinical trials

Labour conditions:

- Working hours : Part-time 20 hours per week. (from 08:00 a 12:00)
- Starting date : As soon as possible.
- Gross annual salary : €14,000.00
- Contract type : Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities
