Job Summary:

onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Wafer Fab Operator to join the Manufacturing Operations Team. The role of the Manufacturing Specialist is primarily to load wafers into production equipment, verify product specs against equipment settings, monitor equipment operation, monitor process pace/productivity, and recognize when something is out of adjustmen

Day Shit 1 : Sunday, Monday, Tuesday every other Wednesday 6:30 AM-7:00 PM

Sign-on bonus: $1,500

Sign-On Bonus: Subject to your commencing employment with us, you will also be eligible to receive a sign-on award in the gross amount of $1,500.00, which will be paid in 4 quarterly payments of $375 each (subject to applicable taxes and payroll deductions). The first payment is payable within the first 30 days of you joining onsemi and quarterly thereafter for 3 additional payments. You must be an active employee with onsemi to receive these sign-on awards. In addition, if your employment is terminated with onsemi for any reason, the sign-on award(s) received as of the date of your termination do not need to be repaid to onsemi

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal).

- Must be able to work a 12-hour shift in a clean-room environment.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds and frequently move it over extended distances. Potential lifting above shoulder height or overhead may be required.

- Job requires extensive standing and walking between various tools. Must be able to stand, stoop, and reach for extended periods of time.

- Must be able to push/pull typically about 100 lbs., but up to 500 lbs. via rolling cart or rolling wire rack.

- Must have sufficient hand manipulation and ability to grasp wafer pod frequently during shift.

- Must be able to work with a variety of chemicals and gases.

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $18.75-$25.87 per hour exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
