About this role

Serenity Behavioral Health Services is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and people-focused Administrative Operations Manager to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, notices the details, and genuinely likes helping people. You'll play an important role in recruiting and onboarding our team, maintaining employee and credentialing records, coordinating benefits, supporting our offices, and making sure the day-to-day operational pieces are working the way they should.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, operations, healthcare administration, or office management

- Experience with an HRIS such as BambooHR preferred.

- Recruiting and interviewing experience preferred.

- Healthcare provider credentialing experience preferred.

- Experience working with insurance companies, Medicaid, or Medicare is a plus.

- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- Behavioral health or healthcare experience is preferred.

What You Will Be Doing

Recruiting, Hiring, and Onboarding
Help Serenity find and hire talented professionals who share our commitment to providing quality mental health services and make sure every new team member gets off to a strong start .

- Create and maintain accurate job postings through BambooHR and Indeed

- Review resumes and applications and identify qualified candidates.

- Coordinate interviews between qualified candidates, the CEO, and Clinical Director.

- Maintain timely and professional communication throughout the recruitment process.

- Complete required new-hire tasks and documentation.

- Provide HR Orientation and position-specific onboarding information.

Credentialing & Compliance
Because we work in healthcare, accuracy matters.

- Credential eligible staff with insurance companies and applicable payers

- Maintain and update provider credentialing information.

- Help ensure Serenity and its providers remain current with active insurance panels, Ohio Medicaid, and Medicare.

Employee & HR Support
You'll be an important resource for our employees and leadership team.

- Respond to employee HR questions and requests accurately and promptly.

- Maintain and oversee employee records in BambooHR.

- Attend administrative, clinical, and other meetings as requested.

- Provide updates, information, and input related to HR and operational matters.

- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and organizational information.

Benefits & Open Enrollment
You'll help employees successfully navigate one of the most important parts of their employment experience.

- Coordinate with insurance representatives to manage annual Open Enrollment period.

- Coordinate employee communications, deadlines, documentation, and access to benefits.

- Assist employees with questions and issues related to benefits package.

IT & Equipment Management
You don't need to be an IT expert—but you should be comfortable solving everyday technology problems and knowing when to call in the experts.

- Set up computers and equipment for new and existing staff.

- Provide basic computer and equipment support.

- Troubleshoot common technology issues.

- Coordinate externally for more complex IT needs
