Ro le description:

The Manager, PMO & Business Optimization serves as the primary leader for Project Management Office (PMO) governance, business optimization initiatives, and strategic project execution across AMP-NA. This role is responsible for driving enterprise visibility into key initiatives, supporting strategic planning processes, developing analytical insights, and leading cross-functional improvement efforts that enhance business performance. The position partners closely with executive leadership and functional teams to ensure strategic initiatives are successfully prioritized, executed, measured, and sustained.

Responsibilities:

- Lead PMO governance activities across AMP-NA, ensuring consistent project management processes, stage gate compliance, initiative tracking, and executive reporting.

- Serve as the primary administrator and business owner for PMO tools, reporting platforms, dashboards, and project portfolio management systems.

- Partner with business leaders to monitor strategic initiatives, identify risks and roadblocks, and facilitate action plans to maintain project objectives and timelines.

- Develop executive-level reporting, scorecards, dashboards, and performance metrics providing visibility into strategic initiatives, operational performance, and business results.

- Lead cross-functional business optimization initiatives focused on process improvement, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, automation, and operational excellence.

- Support development of annual strategic plans, long-range planning processes, growth initiatives, and business transformation activities.

- Support automation and digital transformation initiatives utilizing Power BI, Power Automate, Python, Microsoft applications, SAP, and related technologies.

- Collaborate with leaders across Operations, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, and Manufacturing functions to identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities.

- Facilitate executive reviews, steering committee meetings, project updates, and governance forums to support effective decision-making and organizational alignment.

- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership through analysis of business performance, market conditions, operational metrics, and initiative outcomes.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Senior Director, Strategy & Transportation on business performance, strategic priorities, project execution, and organizational improvement opportunities.

Minimum skills / qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in strategy, project management, business operations, consulting, finance, analytics, continuous improvement, or related disciplines.

- Experience leading cross-functional projects and business initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and functional areas.

- Demonstrated experience supporting strategic planning, business transformation, PMO, or organizational improvement activities.

- Strong analytical capabilities with experience utilizing data, financial analysis, and business metrics to support decision-making.

- Experience developing executive presentations, dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and management reporting.

- Experience utilizing Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools to analyze and communicate business performance.

- Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.

- Ability to balance competing priorities while managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred skills / qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Engineering, Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

- Seven (7) or more years of experience in strategy, consulting, PMO, business transformation, operational excellence, or project leadership roles.

- Experience managing enterprise PMO processes, project portfolios, governance frameworks, and executive reporting structures.

- Experience leading automation, workflow optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Experience with OnePlan, SAP, Power BI, Power Automate, Python, and project portfolio management tools.

- Experience supporting executive leadership teams in strategy development, long-range planning, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $95,900.00 and $143,900.00 per year. This role is bonus eligible. The bonus incentive program is based on the company meeting or exceeding certain targets. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
