Because this role involves regular collaboration with teammates, customers, and site personnel, it will be a full onsite role based at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant (HSAAP) facility in Kingsport, TN.

The Role
• Assist in the coordination and management of basic or routine proposals, contracts, purchase orders, and related contractual documents under the guidance of a higher‑level Contract Administrator or Manager.
• Support analysis of solicitations and preparation of summaries that identify key requirements, risks, and business considerations for assigned efforts.
• Contribute to proposal development by helping draft terms and conditions, bid assumptions, and required documentation. Participate in proposal team meetings and support reviews for accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate with internal functions—including Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Legal—to ensure required reviews, approvals, and signatures are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned contractual matters, maintaining professional and dependable relationships with internal and external customers.
• Support routine negotiations and contract changes commensurate with experience, with direct guidance from senior Contracts personnel.
• Build foundational knowledge of U.S. Government Acquisition and Procurement processes, FAR/DFARS, commercial contracting methods, and applicable company policies and procedures.
• Develop awareness of the commercial and customer environment, including basic financial, pricing, and program considerations relevant to assigned contracts.
• Perform basic contract management activities throughout the lifecycle, including supporting closeout efforts for routine contracts.
• Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities within assigned work packages, contributing to risk mitigation efforts under supervision.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related discipline or liberal arts
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
• Capacity and motivation for hard work, with the ability to exercise discretion and judgment appropriate to an entry‑level contracting role
• Demonstrated research and presentation abilities
• Interest in developing foundational knowledge of government contracting, regulations, and business processes

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $46146 - $78448

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
