About the Role

Springer Nature Health is pursuing an ambitious growth and transformation agenda - including a significant AI agenda - and is investing in the people and structures to deliver it. We are looking for a (Senior) Manager, Transformation & Performance to help turn our agenda into disciplined execution - keeping a complex portfolio of initiatives on track and contributing to one of the most   significant change   efforts in the business.

You will report   into   the   Head of Strategy & Transformation   and work closely with senior leaders across Springer Nature and Springer Nature Health.

Role Responsibilities:

- Drive growth and transformation initiatives   across the   programme’s   core areas   -   AI ,   strategy, go-to-market , product   and business model, performance, and people
- Translate strategy into execution   — building and   maintaining   delivery plans, milestones, critical-path tracking, and decision logs that keep initiatives moving
- Support the Transformation Office   in   maintaining   execution discipline, governance cadence, and   prioritisation   across workstreams
- Coordinate cross-functional teams , holding workstreams accountable to outcomes and timelines and proactively unblocking issues
- Prepare executive- and board-level materials   — decks, updates, and recommendations for senior leadership
- Bring AI fluency   to the work, with a clear understanding of how AI is reshaping products, workflows, and business models

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Essential

- Demonstrable experience, ideally combining   business consulting   with in-house strategy or   transformation work
- A proven   track record   of   working directly with senior management and C-level stakeholders
- Strong command of   transformation,   strategy   and execution   — equally comfortable with the slide and the spreadsheet, the vision, the   people   and the operational detail
- Exceptional   communication, coordination, and presentation skills
- A structured, hands-on, self-directed working style, with the ability to thrive amid ambiguity and pace
- Genuine interest in   healthcare, life sciences, and AI
- Fluent   in   English
- Strong   change management and stakeholder management   skills, with the ability to bring people along through complex   organisational   change
- Experience working with   multidisciplinary and international teams   across different markets and cultures

Desirable

- Fluent in German or Dutch
- Healthcare, life   science   and AI   sector experience
