CDL Class A Truck Driver

THE ROLE

The CDL Class A Truck Driver safely and efficiently delivers Gotham Greens products to customers and completes transfer routes between company sites. This position loads, unloads, prepares, and inspects product; maintains accurate inspection, shipping, delivery, payment, and expense records; follows company and DOT requirements; communicates route issues promptly; and represents Gotham Greens professionally while protecting the assigned commercial vehicle, keys, and fuel cards.

WHAT YOULL DO

Delivery and Customer Service

- Deliver company products to customers at assigned delivery times using scheduled routes.

- Load, unload, prepare, and inspect products, and ensure the safe delivery of products that meet quality standards.

- Act as a positive ambassador for Gotham Greens, request service feedback, and work to resolve customer complaints.

- Collect payments, invoices, related items, and required documents.

- Complete transfer routes between company sites.

Vehicle Safety and Regulatory Compliance

- Accurately complete required logs and reports, including pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and shipping and delivery tickets.

- Follow company and DOT regulations and safety standards.

- Complete deliveries in accordance with the companys Shipping Protocol.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable commercial vehicle, inside and out.

- Ensure the safekeeping and security of assigned vehicle keys and WEX cards.

- Maintain receipts for approved business expenses and comply with company expense policy.

- Execute routes safely and efficiently, promptly communicate issues to Logistics and Distribution, and proactively explain circumstances that add route time.

Employee and Food Safety Compliance

- Follow the facility GMPs.

- Execute daily processes that enforce food safety protocols and maintain compliance.

- Follow company food safety, product-handling, delivery-safety, and quality procedures throughout loading, transport, and delivery activities.

Operational Support

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Comfortable driving in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.

- Valid CDL Class A drivers license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record with no traffic violations.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.

- Ability to successfully complete required drug testing upon hire or promotion and maintain a current DOT Medical Card.

- Valid authorization to work in the United States.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to plan and execute scheduled delivery and transfer routes safely, accurately, and efficiently.

- Ability to load, inspect, secure, transport, and unload products while maintaining product quality.

- Ability to complete vehicle inspections, delivery documents, payment records, and expense documentation accurately.

- Ability to communicate delays, route issues, customer feedback, and service concerns promptly and professionally.

- Ability to provide positive customer service and represent Gotham Greens professionally.
