Network Installation Technician

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Network Installation Technician will be providing support to more senior network engineers onsite at Fairfax County.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

- Assisting Network Engineers in the deployment of new network equipment

- Patching ethernet cables to patch panels and network switches

- Removing old equipment and mount new equipment

- Installing/configuring uninterruptable power supplies (UPS)

- Additional duties as assigned.

SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS

- BS or equivalent experience supporting network administration

- General knowledge of networking with familiarity of patching cables and configuring network equipment.

- Ability to lift 40lbs and climb 6' ladders

- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects and meet target deadlines

COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT INFORMATION

The salary range for this position is $27.50 - 30.00/hr. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.

Iron Bow Technologies reserves the right to fill this role at a different level, depending on qualifications and organizational priorities. This range represents only one component of Iron Bow’s total compensation package. An overview of our benefits is available on our careers page.
