Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the end-to-end accounts payable process. This includes timely and accurate invoice processing, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining positive vendor relationships. The role requires a proactive individual who can identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Receiving departments.
- Identify and document root causes of payment delays and errors, implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
- Enforce corporate credit card policy, including setup, fraud monitoring, and monthly statement review and posting.
- Enforce travel and expense policy, facilitate approvals, and manage payments.
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with external financial statement audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including preparation of annual 1099 filings.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience in end-to-end accounts payable process.
- Proven experience in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.
- Hands-on expertise with Tipalti and/or Ramp.
- Ability to process no less than 200 invoices per week.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Experience with full cycle accounts payable, reconciliation, and vendor maintenance.
Work Environment
This role is 100% onsite, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The environment is fast-paced, reflecting a start-up mode. The target is to process and route 250 invoices a week to the appropriate departments. Initially, the role will start in Everett, WA for 1-2 weeks before relocating to a new office in Seattle, WA. Public transit is recommended for commuting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $37.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
