Job Title: Calibration Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team, working onsite in Concord, NC. This role is perfect for those with 1-2 years of calibration experience, preferably within a regulated environment. Candidates will initially train on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift, where they will assume a supervisory role. - Complete calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with accurate and timely GxP documentation, adhering to company or client-specific policies and procedures.
- Perform calibrations including flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional calibrations with guidance.
- Handle and maintain company and client equipment, including testing and standards equipment.
- Learn to troubleshoot and perform repairs, focusing primarily on scheduled calibrations and maintenance events.
- Proactively assess project safety concerns and ensure compliance with all client site safety requirements.
- Develop and implement effective solutions by strategically assessing client environments, needs, and requirements.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of calibration experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce detailed reports referencing standards or established limits/parameters.
- Experience with calibration tasks including loop checks, humidity, temperature, and pH checks.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred but not required.
- Ability to make independent decisions within a defined scope of work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Pharmaceutical or military experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with 4-20mA transmitters (loop calibrations) is a plus.
- Basic understanding and application of GMP's and Life Science Industry regulations.
- Thorough electrical panel knowledge and safety practices.
- A two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent military training.
Work Environment This is a fully onsite role situated in a greenfield construction setting. Candidates should be prepared for a heavy construction presence, emphasizing the importance of safety and awareness in the environment. Steel-toed boots are required, and reimbursement is available for this requirement.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
