Pay

$23.25 - $24.39 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Plus $2.00 / hour shift premium for 3rd shift hours

3rd Shift, (Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.); Other days and hours as needed

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Load Team Member w/LTO II to join our Shipping team . A Load Team Member w/LTO II loads cases of product to fill distributor orders; operates components of shipping automation; loads and unloads transferred product; maintains a clean and orderly work area, keeps waste to a minimum; and performs other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a McKee Foods LTO license and maintain it
- Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks and functions as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently
- Basic math skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with management, coworkers, and customers
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to repetitively lift and move up to 40 lbs
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify cause and effect
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn
- Good work ethic, safety practices, and attendance; adherence to company policies, personal safety, food safety, product purity, and departmental procedures
- Steel-toed safety shoes required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist in training and development of others
- Availability to work additional hours and days as needed

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous Shipping experience
- Previous LTO experience
- Mechanical aptitude and skills
