Reports to: Executive Assistant to the President of Acts 29

Workload: Part-time, Hourly - 20-25 hours weekly

Location:  Remote (some travel required)

General Description

The Global Team Assistant will operate as the primary administrative support for Acts 29 Global. This role will centrally support the global division to ensure global regional efforts align with the strategic objectives of the President of Acts 29. This person must be exceedingly well-organized, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an international team. Must be technologically savvy, efficient, and resourceful, with high capability to effectively communicate through various platforms and in multicultural contexts.

This role aims to increase and ensure the effectiveness and reliability of the Global Division of Acts 29 and its contribution to the organization's worldwide church planting mission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Global Administration:

- Communicate information and expectations to the Global Regional Directors.

- Plan and facilitate Global Team meetings, both online and in person. This includes handling all meeting logistics, such as virtual meeting links and in-person venues, lodging, and catering.

- Attend all Global Team meetings (online or in person), take accurate notes, and share key decisions and action items afterward.

- Coordinate with administrative assistants in Global Regions to keep them informed on relevant meeting outcomes.

- Manage and execute any short-term and/or one-off projects that arise periodically, ensuring effective project management and timely completion.

Global Regional Director (GRD) Support:

- Ensure the GRDs prioritize maintaining accurate regional records, reliable reporting, and compliance with Acts 29’s organizational systems and requirements.

- Communicate travel logistics to the GRDs for US events and in-person Global Team meetings, ensuring a smooth travel experience, optimizing time and resources for the Global Division.

- Assist in facilitating collaboration between the Acts 29 Communications Division and any communications needs for the Global Regions, such as event promotions or celebrations of key wins.

- Be available to liaise between the Finance Department and GRDs to solve any financial, accounting, or reimbursement issues that may arise.

Church to Church Partnerships Support:

- Provide administrative assistance with church-to-church partnerships as requested.

Standard Requirements

- Travel: Overnight travel required at times.

- Policies: Must adhere to Acts 29’s Handbook, Statement of Faith, Information Security Policy, and any additional policies required of Acts 29 staff.

- Equipment: Must return any Acts 29-purchased equipment upon termination.

- Support : Must utilize Acts 29’s data, financial, and communication policy systems for Acts 29 operations.
