π οΈ What You'll Be Doing
- Responding to and completing resident work orders
- Performing general building repairs and maintenance
- Drywall repair and patching
- Interior and exterior painting
- Plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
- Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Door, lock, and hardware repairs
- Preventive maintenance throughout the community
- Apartment turns and move-in preparations
- Carpentry and general handyman repairs
- Facility inspections
- Common area maintenance
- Grounds and exterior upkeep as assigned
- Assisting with special projects and renovations
- Responding to maintenance emergencies when necessary
This position requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, completing a high volume of work orders, and providing excellent customer service to residents.

π On-Call Rotation
This position participates in our Maintenance On-Call Program.
Maintenance team members rotate on-call responsibilities, which generally results in being on call for approximately one week per month .
Candidates must be willing and able to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies when assigned to the rotation schedule.

Qualifications
β Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following environments is highly desirable:
- Senior Living Communities
- Apartment Communities
- Assisted Living Facilities
- Independent Living Communities
- Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Hotels and Hospitality
- Commercial Facilities
- Healthcare Facilities
- Multifamily Housing
Additional experience is a plus:
- Drywall repair and finishing
- Interior painting
- Plumbing repairs
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Carpentry
- Flooring repairs
- Appliance repair
- Lock and hardware repairs
- HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
- Preventive maintenance programs
Experience working in a large community, campus environment, apartment community, healthcare facility, or similarly sized property is highly preferred.

- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of work orders
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed
- Ability to participate in the on-call rotation
