Job Description

The Lead Manufacturing Specialist – Material Plan & Execution is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials from suppliers(Global /Domestics _ through various departments to meet strict production schedules. You will function with a high degree of autonomy, managing master planning and inventory optimization while serving as a technical resource for the broader manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Planning & Master Scheduling

- Master Planning: Manage the master production schedule (MPS) and ensure it aligns with material availability and customer commitments.
- Requirements Management: Analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to trigger purchasing needs and internal shop orders.
- System Integrity: Maintain accurate lead times, safety stock levels, and lot sizes within the SAP  system

2. Execution & Shortage Management

- Expediting: Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve "line-down" risks and critical shortages.
- Shortage Reviews: Lead daily or weekly shortage reviews, assigning clear actions and recovery owners.
- PO & SLA placing against the MRP requirements & Get OA from Suppliers
- Open order review:  Periodic review of Open orders with Supplier
- Import & Export :  High level of knowledge in import & Export  Process as well to handle Duty process update in SAP

3. Inventory Control & Optimization

- Turnover Management: Balance service levels (part availability) with inventory turns to minimize excess and obsolete stock.
- Review of Safety stock /PFEP: Ensure to review Safety stock & PFEP based on every Quarter use & Change in lead times
- Disposition: Manage the flow of slow-moving or obsolete inventory and coordinate its reduction or disposal.
- Required Qualifications
- Education: * US: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience in manufacturing/supply chain). International: Advanced experience in Material Planning comparable to a Bachelor's degree.

- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in material planning, production control, or manufacturing execution.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SAP /MRP systems
