- Shift: 2nd

- Schedule: 1:30p - 10p

The Locker Room Attendant i s responsible for ensuring that guest (patients, members, and clients) of NorthPointe Health and Wellness experience a delightful first impression in terms of greeting, way finding assistance, environmental safety, and cleanliness. NorthPointe Health and Wellness Guest Services Ambassadors will play a fundamental role in establishing and sustaining guest loyalty.

- Greets each guest in accordance with the Universal Greeting policy.

- Personally, assists guests in finding their way about the NorthPointe Campus.

- Identifies and promptly responds to all self-identified safety issues.

- Maintains the NorthPointe Wellness facility in a sanitary and attractive condition.

- Establishes and maintains positive and professional working relationships with all employees and physicians at the NorthPointe Campus.

- Has a complete knowledge of the facility, staff, services, and hours of operation.

- Represents NorthPointe to guests, members, and the community in a positive, supportive manner.

- Maintains hard surface and carpeted flooring in accordance with manufacturer requirements and management expectations in the locker, spas, toilet areas and as assigned.

- Performs high and low damp and dry dusting of all environmental surfaces including lockers and benches.

- Cleans and sanitizes restroom and hand wash facilities.

- Receives, checks in and puts away Environmental and Laundry supply deliveries.

- Keeps restrooms and hand-wash facilities stocked with soap, sanitizer, guest amenities and paper products.

- Keeps locker room and seating area furniture positioned properly in accordance with furniture placement schedule.

- Keeps all furniture clean including soft seating, wood and metal seating and tables.

- Sweeps and seasonally shovels facility entrances to assure guest safety (activity coordinated with engineering personnel).

- Interior vacuuming.

- Uses cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with manufacturer specifications and uses the required PPE in all cases.

- Maintains all Environmental Services equipment clean and in good repair.

- Assists with meeting/event set-up, take down and clean up.

- Enters work requests into the TMS system for equipment and facility repairs.

- Collects solid waste from generation points in the locker rooms.

- Disposes of solid waste in the dock compactor unit

- Collects soiled towels/textiles from generation points in the locker rooms, work out floor and spa, transports to laundry processing room.

- Wash, dry and fold towels according to established laundry procedures

- Keeps laundry equipment in working order and clean and lint/dust free.

- Delivers clean towels to locker rooms, work out floor and spa.

- Makes regular rounds of the spa area including the steam rooms, sauna and whirlpools for cleaning and member safety.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Performs the necessary functions to prepare, maintain and clean up the work area to ensure cleanliness and safety.

- Attends seminars, classes and in-services to improve and expand skills.

- Orders cleaning equipment and supplies through the Beloit Health System supply chain system established for NorthPointe.

Job Requirements

- High school graduate or GED preferred, not required.

- Experience in environmental maintenance is desired.

- Must successfully complete job skills training checklist.

- CPR certification within 90 days of hire

- Ability to effectively communicate is required.

- Ability to problem solve.

- Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple demands.

- Maintain ethical conduct and keep confidential personal and medical information about guests, patients, and clients.

- Adhere to established hospital and department policies, rules, and regulations.

- Participate in educational programs and continually seek for personal development.
