POSITION SUMMARY
The Research and Data Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the organization’s research, data management, epidemiology, evaluation, and addictions program coordination functions.
The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective research and data management systems, ensuring data quality, overseeing research and evaluation activities, and strengthening the organization’s capacity to use evidence and data to understand program outcomes and community needs.
The Research and Data Manager manages multiple concurrent projects and activities and is responsible for ensuring that assigned deliverables, timelines, and priorities are effectively coordinated and completed. The position provides leadership and direction to a team inclusive of: Lead Epidemiologist, Epidemiologist, Addictions Program Coordinators, and Research Analyst, ensuring that research, epidemiology, data analysis, evaluation, and program coordination activities are aligned with organizational and program priorities.
All research and data activities are guided by First Nations “rites of access” protocols and are conducted in accordance with Thunderbird Partnership Foundation’s ethical research policies, confidentiality requirements, procedures, and established practices.
