Job Summary

The Functional Manager Global ERP Operations has significant impact on achievement of operational goals by ensuring that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirement. This position provides functional leadership over a managed service provider and an internal Business Systems Analyst team, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high‑quality D365 solutions that meet organizational needs. The Functional Manager oversees day-to-day ERP operations, including service requests, and project execution, ensuring timely resolution, quality delivery, and continuity of core business systems. Working closely with global business stakeholders, this role interprets business processes and challenges and translates them into clear functional requirements, user stories, and solution designs within D365. The individual applies strong business process knowledge, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to drive adoption, optimize workflows, and maximize the value of Dynamics 365 investments. The Functional Manager also support D365 upgrades, module enhancements, ISV solutions, and Azure-based integrations, ensuring alignment with Microsoft best practices, security standards, and the enterprise application roadmap.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 7+ years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing direct reports of functional and technical resources

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in design, development, customization, Implementation, Integration, and administration of ERP which includes MS Dynamics 365 F&O solutions
- Experience with full life-cycle implementations of D365 F&O and managing the production support team
- 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in large teams in Microsoft Power Platform
- Hands-on experience and strong functional expertise in pricing are required. Experience with the Flintfox ISV would be a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding and hands-on implementation experience in Advanced warehouse Management, particularly for large-scale warehouse environments, is required. Practical experience working with ISV’s such as NMB and SPS is also needed
- Process manufacturing experience is required, along with a solid understanding of formulas, co/by product handling and formula-based production processes.
- Strong EDI knowledge is required, along with hands-on experience in mapping and troubleshooting EDI messages/errors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience in vendor management including management of ISVs deployed on D365 F&O platform
- Proven Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional team
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O and working knowledge of Microsoft D365 CRM
- Strong advocate for adherence to standards, best practices, and delivery processes
- Strong communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to develop strategic, ongoing relationships.
- Experience with data cleansing, verification, and migration
- Knowledge of master data management and data quality best practices.
- Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
- Medical Devices or Life sciences industry experience is a strong plus.
- Highly regulated industry experience is a strong plus.
- Applicable Microsoft D365 Certifications

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $117,524 and $218,258 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
