About this role

Senior Account Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements, statistical Reports and Bank Reconciliations
Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
Prepare and post journal entries during month end close
Perform balance sheet and budget comparison analysis and explain variances
Responsible for dealership depreciation/fixed assets
Responsible for dealership factory payable recon
Responsible for deposit reconciliation/posting
Responsible for balance sheet account reconciliation
Responsible for calculation of sales and use tax
Responsible for warranty-payments and credit memos
Responsible for AP invoice approvals and verification
Audit sales analysis
Maintain and post/apply and verify all monies (i.e. down payments, deposits, credit card slips, refunds and bank wires) on truck sales
Process customer refunds
Provide daily dealership assistance
Perform all other duties as assigned

Senior Account Requirements
A minimum of one year experience in a dealership environment preferred
Experience with the automotive sales, service and parts industry a plus
Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to work well with all levels of team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Organized with a strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
Desire to provide excellent customer service
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all business and employment issues.
Operating all necessary office equipment.   
A college degree in accounting or a related field is required
Additional training in accounting and on computers
A valid driver’s license is required
