Bilingual English/Spanish Safety Coordinator   Great opportunity to start a career in Manufacturing Safety - entry level candidates encouraged to apply!   Job Description The Bilingual Safety Coordinator supports the safety and human resources functions by creating, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, conducting training, and managing related administrative tasks. This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and serving as an approachable resource for employees who have safety concerns or need assistance with incident reporting and investigations.   Responsibilities

- Inspect facilities regularly to detect existing or potential safety and health hazards.
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of applicable safety regulations and standards.
- Identify safety training needs across the workforce and develop action plans to complete required training.
- Perform administrative duties and maintain accurate safety-related recordkeeping and documentation.
- Support injury triage by gathering information, documenting incidents, and coordinating next steps.
- Provide customer-service-oriented support to employees and supervisors regarding safety and injury reporting.
- Flex work schedule as needed to be present across different shifts to address incidents and training needs.

Essential Skills

- Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to read, write, and speak both languages clearly and professionally.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to speak confidently in front of groups during trainings and meetings.
- Ability to conduct safety trainings, including powered industrial truck training, in both English and Spanish as needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data entry for safety and administrative recordkeeping.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Administrative skills, including organizing documents, maintaining records, and managing safety-related paperwork.
- Ability to work flexibly across different shifts to respond to incidents that require immediate attention.
- Reliability, strong work ethic, and motivation to learn and grow in the safety and administrative field.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Woodburn, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $46800.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
