OVERVIEW:

T he Foodhall Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service within the casino marketplace cafeteria by ensuring food stations are clean, stocked, and operating efficiently. This role assists guests with food and beverage selections, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, replenishes products and supplies, and supports overall food hall operations to create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable dining experience. The Foodhall Attendant works collaboratively with culinary and service teams to provide timely, friendly service while contributing to a positive guest experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Set- up/ Replenish server stations with polished China, glassware and silverware
- Set- up/ Replenish server stations with condiments for service
- Scraping dishes
- Ensure place settings are appropriate, and each guest has a napkin, polished silverware, and any other item this is part of the standard place setting
- Utilize trays for pre-bussing & bussing tables; all trays are to be organized with safety in mind
- All soiled China, glass and silverware trays are to deliver to dish room; discarding all trash in designated bins
- All soiled linen is to be bagged up and removed to designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, practicing clean as you go procedures
- Notify management of any maintenance repair issues
- Complete any additional reasonable requests by management
- Check with supervisor before leaving at end of shift

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPIERENCE, EDUCATION:

- Performs duties which require bending & reaching
- Lifting & transporting up to 50-pound containers, dish racks, and trashcans
- Standing or moving, for up to 8+ hours
- Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
- Maintains a well-groomed appearance
- Follows all uniform guidelines
- Practices all general safety & sanitation standards
- Remains calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
- Demonstrates a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency
- Displays a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers
- Able to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
- Able to work evening shits

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk distances.
- The employee must frequently lift/push/pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
