The Role
Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for an experienced and highly motivated Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Transition to Production and Product Support team. In this role, you will drive the success of advanced product lines, working closely with an elite team to support cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced military platforms in the world.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day activities will vary and include high-level technical leadership and execution, specifically:
- Program Leadership: Serve as the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Specialized Technical Oversight: Act as the Lead Mechanical Engineering (ME) support for RF modules and Microwave systems, providing subject matter expertise to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Portfolio Support: Provide expert ME support across the full spectrum of F-35 Production and Sustainment programs, ensuring operational excellence across all product families.
- Issue Resolution: Lead and peer-review the resolution of mechanical product defects, implementing robust corrective actions to maintain mission readiness.
- Operational Excellence: Drive strategic improvements in product yield and affordability to optimize production efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the on-time delivery of high-quality products that directly support the War Fighter.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Mechanical Engineering degree and 8+ years’ experience
- Ability to research and apply mechanical engineering principles and theories to solve complex mechanical engineering problems.
- Experience taking products through the design process and leading the transition to production.
- Ability to multi-task and utilize resources on your team to solve issues in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with complex machining and piece part manufacturing for aerospace.
- Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability
- Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with peers, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical problems and implement solutions.
- Experience presenting technical information to program teams and/or customers.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Experience in packaging of electronics
- Experience in Magazines and Dispensers
- Experience in RF modules

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
