Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team for the Toledo Automatic Transmission programs. The successful candidate will coordinate the installation, debugging, and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) of assembly equipment, working closely with various teams to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities

- Coordinate the assembly execution of the Automatic Transmission program in Toledo.
- Create and lead in-plant runoff planning and conduct runoff parts meetings.
- Validate error-proofing plans and update PFMEA documents.
- Conduct equipment validation and PPAP timing plan with the Launch team.
- Develop and lead PPAP review meetings utilizing the PPAP checklist.
- Update the Execution Manager with the current status of equipment installation, runoff, and PPAP.
- Lead the closure of all Manufacturing Engineering open issues for Launch Deliverables.
- Gather lessons learned and provide feedback to Process Engineers for BOE/BOP updates.
- Support plant floor equipment installation and debug processes.
- Lead Red tag, Yellow tag, and Green tag sign-off activities.
- Establish and review equipment installation boards weekly/daily with OEM and contractors.
- Ensure all Launch Deliverables meet the expectations and requirements of the final customer.

Essential Skills

- 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on execution activities.
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes related to general assembly and testing of automatic transmissions.
- 2+ years of experience working with AutoDesk products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Prior experience with assembly systems, presses, and cameras.
- Knowledge of Drive Unit and electric assembly.
- Proficiency in manufacturing engineering, PFMEA, tooling, assembly line, continuous improvement, and CNC machines.

Work Environment This role requires a commitment to occasional shutdown and weekend work. The candidate will work in a collaborative environment, closely interacting with process engineers, construction teams, safety personnel, and focus factory engineers. The work setting will involve plant floor activities, including equipment installation and debugging processes. Dress code and specific facility conditions will be communicated upon hiring.

This is a Contract position based out of Toledo, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
