Body Shop Technician

HAWKINS CHEVROLET is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team in Sunbury, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to perform high-quality repairs on vehicle bodies to restore them to their original condition.

Responsibilities

- Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on vehicle bodies.

- Remove and install damaged parts, such as doors, fenders, and bumpers.

- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, filling, and masking surfaces.

- Operate tools and equipment safely, including frame straightening machines and welding equipment.

- Inspect vehicles for damage and communicate repair needs to management.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

- Experience in automotive body repair or collision repair.

- Familiarity with repair techniques, tools, and equipment.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.

- Valid drivers license.

- Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
