An Assembler III, performs advanced assembly operations and is assigned either as a floater supporting Assembler I and Assembler II roles or as a specialist in the MODs area, where walk-in panels are customized per specific customer orders. This position applies in-depth product knowledge to ensure quality, accuracy, and production continuity across standard and custom assembly operations.
Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position is based in Parsons, Tennessee*.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced assembly operations with minimal supervision
- Serve in one of the following assignments based on production needs:
- Assembly Floater Assignment:
- Fill in for Assembler I and Assembler II positions as needed to support production flow, coverage, and staffing gaps
- Perform all duties associated with Assembler I and Assembler II roles at a proficient level
- MODs Assignment:
- Work in the MODs (customization) area, modifying and assembling walk-in panels and components to meet specific customer order requirements
- Perform custom panel modifications using approved tools, methods, and work instructions
- Read and interpret complex job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to determine correct materials, dimensions, and assembly methods
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure conformance with quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements
- Provide informal guidance and support to less experienced assemblers when needed, without formal supervisory responsibility
- Operate hand tools and electric or pneumatic power tools required for standard and custom assembly tasks
- Load, unload, lift, and move materials and assemblies using appropriate lifting equipment when available
- Accurately complete and maintain all required production documentation, including electronic records, checklists, stamps, barcodes, and related paperwork
- Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
- Perform all duties in accordance with the Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Manitowoc Code of Conduct
- Actively participate in safety training and promptly address or escalate safety concerns
- Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice and the employee may be assigned additional tasks as needed to support the business operations.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years Manufacturing and or construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures
- In depth knowledge of the product and components.
- Perform basic math and reading comprehension
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Ability to stand/walk on concrete for a full shift and work in temperatures above 95F
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and lift 50 lbs alone; lift more than 50 lbs with assistance
- Ability to handle tools safely and inspect finished products
- Must be able to wear PPE
