Position Summary

AB Facility Service is seeking an experienced Commercial Route Service Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical service, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and installations at commercial properties. The ideal candidate must be able to independently diagnose electrical issues and complete service calls efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform commercial electrical service, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance.

- Troubleshoot electrical panels, breakers, disconnects, transformers, motors, controls, lighting, and distribution systems.

- Troubleshoot 120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, and 480V single- and three-phase systems.

- Install and troubleshoot EMT conduit, wiring, electrical devices, and equipment.

- Perform electrical testing using multimeters, clamp meters, and other diagnostic equipment.

- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and one-line diagrams.

- Troubleshoot electrical components associated with commercial HVAC and mechanical equipment.

- Respond to commercial service calls and manage multiple locations throughout an assigned route.

- Communicate professionally with customers, building engineers, and facility managers.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred.

- Strong commercial service and electrical troubleshooting experience.

- Experience with power distribution, panels, breakers, conduit, wiring, lighting, motors, and controls.

- Strong understanding of single- and three-phase electrical systems.

- Ability to diagnose electrical problems independently.

- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

- Experience with commercial HVAC electrical systems is a plus.

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between commercial locations.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.
