About this role
Overview The Office/Operations Coordinator will support the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of a small team. This person will communicate regularly with farmers, brokers, and other business partners while assisting with invoicing, coordination, data entry, and general office responsibilities. This would be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a smaller-team environment and wants a stable, long-term position where they can learn the business. Key Responsibilities
- Handle approximately 6-12 inbound calls per day, typically from farmers, brokers, or other business contacts
- Manage routine phone and email correspondence
- Assist with invoice processing and other basic billing-related responsibilities
- Coordinate information and requests between customers and internal team members
- Enter and maintain accurate information within internal systems
- Work within SAP as part of daily processes
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking, updating, and organizing information
- Help coordinate day-to-day operational and administrative activities
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Provide general office support to a small team
- Respond professionally and promptly to customer and business-partner questions
Must Have Qualifications:
- Previous administrative, office support, customer service, or operations experience
- Comfortable handling professional phone and email communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Ability to work independently while also supporting a small team
- Professional and personable communication style
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Previous invoicing or billing exposure
- Experience working in SAP or another ERP/business system
- Experience within agriculture, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related environment
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Webberville, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
